The Original Musical
This first-ever musical version of the story is a truly magical script which has pleased audiences of all ages all over the world for many years. Trapped in animal form by the Faery Queen, whose daughter (named Rose), he dared to promise to marry and then abandon, and who died of a broken heart, the Beast, who secludes himself in a magic castle with a beautiful rose garden planted in the faery's memory, can only regain human form by finding true love. Will he find it in a simple merchant's daughter, who he fears to set free? And can Beauty look past the surface and love the man inside the monster?
The New, Compact Musical
A delightful short and sweet 5-scene musical version of the beloved story which runs about 80 minutes, includes parts for Mermaids and Faeries and may be performed without flying equipment. Cast of about 50 with no doubling so perfect for school performance situations where the goal is to involve a lot of young performers.
A Musical Fantasy
In this 90 minute musical, Rapunzel, kidnapped as a child by the wicked witch Gothel, is freed from her tower prison by handsome Prince Gunther who promises to show her the world. Their plans change when the Witch finds out about them and Rapunzel is banished to the Land of Eternal Winter and the Prince blinded. Gunther, his page Rolf, and Rapunzel's friend Pandora the white cat must brave the dangers of the Forest of No Return and find the Prince's lost love. A FUN show which casts have thoroughly enjoyed performing.
Hans Christian Andersen's
THE LITTLE MERMAID
The only musical version of this story faithful to the author's original intention, which is to tell a story about emotional growth and unselfishness, not self-gratification. The Mermaid learns a beautiful lesson and though she and the Prince with whom she becomes infatuated are not to be married she learns to rise above and that the best place a person can be in is not just the surface world or a castle but in a place in someone's heart.
NEW RELEASE: Can Robin and the Outlaws defeat their dangerous foes and in doing so awaken the sleeping Faery Princess who will bring magic back to the land? A great new and sincere production which draws upon the historic ballads of the legendary outlaw and his adventures and is suited to groups with male performers who enjoy stage combat and younger female performers who will enjoy appearing as faeries.
One-hour almost completely sung-through, "played straight" but funny musical version of the familiar story, featuring an adorable, configurable cast of flowers, forest animals, brave woodcutters, Grandma, Mother and a dangerous wolf-like dude. Thoroughly charming music all the way through ranges from light operatic to ragtime to swing and 50's style! Many parts for small female singers and dancers and only 2 male roles.
