Hans Christian Andersen's
THE LITTLE MERMAID

The only musical version of this story faithful to the author's original intention, which is to tell a story about emotional growth and unselfishness, not self-gratification. The Mermaid learns a beautiful lesson and though she and the Prince with whom she becomes infatuated are not to be married she learns to rise above and that the best place a person can be in is not just the surface world or a castle but in a place in someone's heart.

RED RIDING HOOD
The Operetta

One-hour almost completely sung-through, "played straight" but funny musical version of the familiar story, featuring an adorable, configurable cast of flowers, forest animals, brave woodcutters, Grandma, Mother and a dangerous wolf-like dude. Thoroughly charming music all the way through ranges from light operatic to ragtime to swing and 50's style! Many parts for small female singers and dancers and only 2 male roles.

PETER RABBIT
Operetta by Henry P. Cross

60 Minute sung-through operetta with garden and fence set and bunnies' house to the side.
Characters are Mother Rabbit, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, Peter Rabbit, Farmer McGregor, Fisrt Lettuce, Biggest Bean, Teeny Weeny Bean, Carrots, and other vegetables.

Peter Rabbit sneaks into McGregor's garden to try to swipe some vegetables for food and is pursued by the Farmer then all are taught lessons in friendship by the vegetables in the garden (Lettuce, Peas, Beans and Carrots) and Peter and the Farmer finally make up and shake hands.

Hilarious if performed by actors familiar with an audience group. "I'm the Teeny Weeny Bean" is a pretty funny song. And the First Lettuce is actually a good part. Ends with the lovely, cheerful song "A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed"
